At ART OF HOPE while our mission focuses on supporting the trauma and mental health needs of refugees and vulnerable communities, we just couldn’t stop thinking about the elderly who lost their homes and livelihoods in the August 4 Beirut explosion.

 
These are grandpas, grandmas, uncles and aunties like Rosie, an 87 year old breast cancer survivor and retired teacher who lost her home due to the blasts. 

She told us that her father helped build the house +100 years ago and all she wants is to be able to go back to her home.
