OUR IMPACT

Our Impact Through Stories

The impact that Art of Hope has had over the past 7 years cannot be accurately conveyed through numbers and statistics. Trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses that result from war, instability, and displacement are not easily quantifiable. They are the invisible wounds of war.

Art of Hope strives to make the invisible, visible. We work with our local partners to ensure that our beneficiaries feel seen and heard. We combine the best practices for therapy and trauma relief to ensure that our beneficiaries experience a tangible improvement in their mental wellbeing. Here we share several stories of our impact over years and across the countries and communities that we served.

The Belous Family

Kharkiv, Ukraine

The Belous family came to our center this past fall after leaving their home in Kupiansk where they lived under Russian occupation. Their mother first wrote to our team looking for humanitarian aid. But thanks to your generous donations, we were able to help not only with food, clothes, and gifts for the children, but also with their DREAMS of playing guitar & learning music where they prepared the guitar assemble for The Winter Concerts. It was their first time on the big stage and they are all shining bright.
